Elegant Asian Flair

Mary Jo’s client had painted their outdated dining room a striking Benjamin Moore color (CW-675 Ambler slate.) They had just inherited a family dining room set and were stuck on how to bring it all together. Along with the dining set and hiding in the drawers were Japanese artifacts that they wanted to incorporate into the room. I suggested new window treatments that would coordinate the art pieces, cozy up the room, and give it an elegant feel and look.

Elegant dining room drapes in a soft white faux silk fabric to contrast the dark walls. The drapery panels are accented with a decorative fretwork tape on the leading edge. Beautifully shaped cornice boards in a black and white toile Asian-style theme depicted on fabric. Coordinating lip cord tape runs along the edge of the cornice. This dining room was previously unused but Mary Jo’s design has made this a popular place to gather.
